Delicious high quality matchas. They have Strawberry ,raspberry and more. I also love their puerh tea (a fermented tea) that’s hard to find . They also have a lot of wellness teas and caffeine free teas and tonics. Very tasty small menu , miso soup ,salad and sometimes matcha cheesecake. The people are nice and it’s a relaxing place for a good cup of tea. One of the best matcha and tea places around!

The worst matcha we’ve ever had. They barely put any “matcha”, used an electric whisk at what I thought was a “traditional tea shop”, and finished it with Costco Kirkland Oat Milk. No matcha taste at all, just strong oat milk flavor. Avoid at all costs if you enjoy matcha.

We tried this matcha place while in Santa Barbara and we enjoyed it. We ordered their Ceremonial Matcha Latte and Ube Sweet Potato Pie. Definitely worth the stop while exploring the area.

SCAM ALERT!!! DO NOT GET MATCHA HERE!! They are selling spinach powder and calling it matcha. I ordered a matcha latte, and it literally tasted like nothing but oat milk. I asked if they could remake it with no milk, and they initially offered not to charge me, which I really appreciated. But about 10 minutes later, they came back and said they actually did have to charge me, so I ended up paying for a second drink. When I tasted the remake, it genuinely tasted like spinach, not matcha. At this point, I honestly feel like this place is scamming people. Either they’re cutting their matcha with spinach powder to make the color look brighter, or they’re straight-up serving spinach powder and calling it matcha.

I drink 2 or 3 cups of tea daily. So was looking forward to trying this tea shop. I had the Shen Elixir, with miso soup with egg. Dessert was the Ube sweet potato pie. The Shen elixir was tasty and really grounding energy. But Ube sweet potato pie was not to sweet but delicious. I know the next time I'm in Santa Barbara will stop for tea.
